We are excited to welcome our new educational director, Rabbanit Shira Sapir.
A graduate of Midreshet Lindenbaum’s Women’s Institute of Halakhic Leadership and a native Efratian, Rabbanit Shira has expertise initiating educational programs, working with non-profit organizations, and as a high-level Torah teacher. Together with Rabbanit Shira, we feel confident that we will further expand the reach of the WBM, and look forward to the journey with her at the helm.
We thank Rabbanit Chamutal Shoval for infusing the WBM with new life, and spearheading fresh learning opportunities over the past year and a half. Rabbanit Chamutal will be going on shlichut abroad, where her husband will pursue a post-doctoral fellowship. We wish her and her family every success. Rabbanit Chamutal will continue to play a role here at The Women’s Beit Midrash, as our transitional Rosh Beit Midrash, producing monthly “Rosh Chodesh Live” videos.
The Women’s Beit Midrash is at a very exciting juncture:
This past year we introduced many new programs – events for teens, young mothers, and Olim, book launches, parenting classes, and a joint Matan-WBM Bat Mitzvah program… along with our regular weekly shiurim, pre-holiday Y’mei Iyun, and Tanach-based tiyulim.
And… WE HAVE SO MUCH MORE PLANNED!!
Please partner with us in taking the WBM to the next level. We can’t wait to roll out new and exciting programs aimed at a variety of audiences across the Gush.
Thank you for being our partners
in supporting women’s Torah learning in the Gush.
Warmly,
Sara Susswein Tesler
Chairwoman of the Board
